We have a great update to share with you! Over the weekend, the Material Support to Designated Entities Act of 2011 passed in both the House (76 to 16) and the Senate (26 to 3) in Tennessee. It now sits on the Governor’s desk for his signature.
This bill has been the epicenter of a tremendous debate over the last couple of months in Tennessee.In fact, we sent out 2 emails last week detailing the unfair media treatment surrounding this bill and an associated groundbreaking new documentary video. Click here to view it in case you missed it.
Our side overcame major opposition to the bill, especially in the form of unprofessional “journalism” on the part of the Tennessean newspaper. There was only tepid acknowledgement that the bill passed both Houses of the Legislature over the weekend from the Tennessean. If the reverse had been true, had the bill been defeated, the local paper would have likely given the story top center coverage.
